SPL Fanzone: Falkirk

SATURDAY'S visit to Paisley was the expected uncompromising affair – lots of endeavour but often lacking the final killer touch. The result hinged on two major incidents: firstly former Bairn Michael Higdon scored the goal of his life; secondly Pedro Moutinho stole the ball off Saints keeper Paul Gallagher and put the ball into the net only to have it chalked off for "interference".

Having seen it again on TV it is clear Gallagher had lost control of the ball. Pedro did get some revenge by setting up a slickly taken equaliser for Carl Finnigan but the feeling remains that we were robbed and should have had three points.

Our next few games are against three of the sides just above us – Kilmarnock, Hearts and St Johnstone – and I feel that now is the time for the climb off the bottom to begin.
