SPL Fanzone: Falkirk

THE Bairns were well worth the draw they didn't get on Saturday. The first half was dominated by the Hibees, but it was Falkirk who had a couple of the best chances and a disallowed goal, while Hibs had only a deflected goal to show for all their effort. With our side again down to the bare bones of the squad they really went at Hibs for the bulk of the second half and were unlucky not to equalise. By this stage Hibs were hanging on, but, with minutes left, they grabbed the decisive goal.

After the game I met with the legend that is the Laird of Morningside – veteran of hundreds of matches as a member of the Tartan Army and visits to over 80 countries. Well I can exclusively reveal, and forewarn Gordon Smith, that this well known Hibee is applying for a certain job that is currently available – you heard it hear first!
