SPL Fanzone: St Mirren
FOR two whole minutes on Saturday we looked like causing an upset at Ibrox. Graham Carey's thunderbolt of a free-kick brought back memories of Guni Torfason in his prime and, after a good start, we looked good for at least a point. Then, as seems to be a common theme at the moment, Rangers got some help from the officials and ended up with all three points.
The standard of refereeing has been poor this season, but, apart from a wee remark here and there, Gus MacPherson hasn't really said much about it recently. For him to come out with such a rant after Saturday shows just how bad the officiating was. We keep hearing these things even themselves out over a season but just about every time we play one of the Old Firm we seem to have this problem. How long do we have to wait?
