THE transfer rumour mill has started early. We are months away from the next window and already Motherwell fans read of clubs lining up to relieve us of our talents just when we are revelling in Craig Brown's revolution.
We know our best players will move on to bigger clubs as they try to make the most of their short careers and they will go with our best wishes. Can our management team work wonders in the transfer market and ensure we don't lose players on the cheap?
Still, nothing can remove the big smiles from the faces of the Fir Park faithful as the team keeps producing the goods – the same squad that was heading for the relegation zone towards the end of 2009. It was no surprise to see our manager receive his second consecutive Manager of the Month award.
