Snooker: Ravenscraig test for Leslie

Rising snooker star Michael Leslie will cue up against world No. 10 Ding Junhui tomorrow morning in Event Five of the Betfair European Tour at the Ravenscraig Sports Facility.

The first-round match, which is being televised by Eurosport, will be Leslie’s first professional outing on home soil since turning professional earlier this year. The event is the first pro-level competition in Scotland for two years and runs from today until Sunday at the 600-seater Ravenscraig Sports Facility

Some for the world’s top players are featured including Neal Robertson and John Higgins.

The winner will pocket £10,000 from a total prize fund of £50,000.

Locarno-based player Scott Donaldson was due to be in action today against England’s Jamie Cope.
