Snooker: Final heartache for McGill
SCOTLAND'S Anthony McGill lost 6-4 to Jak Jones of Wales in the final of the 2010 European Under 19 Snooker Championship in Malta.
McGill, from Glasgow, who also lost in the final two years ago, narrowly missed out on a place on the World Snooker Main Tour. But, with two events to go, he is still on course for a place via the Pontin's International Open Series Tour.
In the Men's Team Championship, Scotland lost 10-6 to Wales. The team consisted of Glasgow trio Scott McKenzie, James McBain and Robert Stephen.
