Shinty: Kingussie ensure Mid Argyll relegation
Double winners Kingussie continued their fine form yesterday with a thumping 7-0 win to end Glasgow Mid Argyll's Premier League shinty fairytale.
The Peterson Park outfit graduated to the top flight this season, becoming the only city-based club in elite shinty. Yesterday, the reigning champions consigned them to the drop with another impressive victory at the Dell. Stephen Borthwick's men rattled in seven, with Ronald Ross grabbing four, while Ryan Borthwick, son of the boss, got a hat-trick.
The other relegation four-pointer between Bute and Oban in Rothesay was postponed following a road accident.
