Shared honours at flooded Deer Park
EUAN Little, Eddie Thomson, Chris Kelly and new Scottish PGA champion Jason McCreadie shared the honours in the Deer Park Masters after the final round of the 36-hole order of merit event was washed out.
The quartet had been tied for top spot on five-under 67s after the opening round but heavy rain in West Lothian left the course flooded and forced officials to abandon the closing day's play. Scottish PGA event controller Roy Murray said: "We had about six inches of water in the bunkers and every green was flooded."
Little, Thomson, Kelly and McCreadie all pocketed a 977 share of the prize fund. Paul Lawrie, the 1999 Open champion, shared sixth place with a host of players on 69 and picked up 280.
