SFL previews: Morton reunited with Falkirk after decade

FIRST DIVISION Morton v Falkirk

Morton entertain Falkirk in a league match at Cappielow for the first time in nearly a decade. Midfielder Michael Tidser returns after a ban, but Darren Young is a doubt because of a calf injury along with Derek Lyle who has a hamstring problem. Falkirk's Mark Millar is banned.

Stirling v Ross County

Stirling manager Jocky Scott is without the injured trio of goalkeeper Callum Reidford, Greig MacDonald and Martyn Corrigan., while Ross County - who travel after four successive home draws - are without long term absentees Darren McCormack and Steven Craig.

Cowdenbeath v Queen of the South

Cowdenbeath defender Kenny Adamson is expected to miss out and he will join the long term injured pair of Danny MacKay and Dene Droudge on the sidelines. Queen of the South manager Kenny Brannigan is hopeful Allan Johnston and Daniel Carmichael pass fitness tests.

SECOND DIVISION

Brechin City v Dumbarton

Charlie King remains out for Brechin, but Scott Fusco is expected to play. Dumbarton's midfield pair Alan Cook and Craig McLeish are out through injury.

East Fife v Peterhead

East Fife are without injured defender Steven Campbell and midfielder Robert Sloan. Peterhead are the only senior side in British football not to have won an away game this season, but they welcome back defender David Donald from suspension.

Livingston v Forfar Athletic

Livingston will be looking for a ninth home win in a row to keep their 11-point gap at the top and have midfielder Keaghan Jacobs fit again. Forfar will be missing defender Michael Bolochoweckyj and Ross Campbell.

Stenhousemuir v Ayr United

Stenhousemuir have winger Stevie Murray available after a ban while Grant Anderson is expected to shake off a knock. Ayr have Willie Easton banned and have fitness doubts over Chris Smith.

THIRD DIVISION

Annan Athletic v Berwick

Annan will climb to third spot in should they see off Berwick and record their first ever midweek win as a SFL side. Aaron Muirhead is missing through suspension with striker Sean O'Connor doubtful with a knee injury. Berwick's top scorer Darren Gribben is available, but Paul Currie and David Greenhill both drop out because of bans.

Stranraer v Clyde

Stranraer keeper David Mitchell is expected to drop out with a groin problem and on-loan Celtic centre half Declan Gallacher is doubtful. Defender Paul Murphy is also suspended. Youngster Ryan Marshall will deputise for Mitchell. Clyde welcome back midfielder John Sweeney to their squad after a ban, however Alan Lithgow, Paul McMullan and Willie Sawyers are all expected to miss out through injury.
