SFL preview: Partick face anxious wait over fitness of Chris Erskine

FIRST DIVISION:

Partick Thistle v Falkirk

Partick Thistle's two-goal hero in their 3-2 win over Falkirk at the weekend, winger Chris Erskine, is a doubt for the re-match between the sides after picking up a hamstring injury against the Bairns. Youngster Jamie Campbell picked up a similar problem in Saturday's game and he is classed as a doubt. Simon Donnelly's back injury has improved and he could come into consideration although Paul Paton, Bryan Hodge, Iain Flannigan and Ryan MacBeth will all miss out.

Falkirk manager Stephen Pressley is likely to make chances with Mehdi Khalis expected to drop out after an uncomfortable 45 minutes at the weekend with Tam Scobbie in line to return from injury to play with centre back Brian McLean still banned.

SECOND DIVISION:

Brechin City v Ayr United

Brechin manager Jim Weir is looking for his men to bounce back from losing two league games in a row for the first time this season to defeat the side that sit immediately below them in the table. Paul McLean is a doubt again for tonight. Charlie King remains out with Craig Molloy missing this one through suspension. Ayr will be missing Martyn Campbell through suspension with Scott McLaughlin and Dean Keenan out injured and Jim Lachlan a doubt.

Forfar v Stenhousemuir

Forfar will field on-loan St Johnstone goalkeeper Neil Duffy with on-loan Rangers youngster, and regular number one Scott Gallacher ruled out as a result of the thigh knock he picked up during Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Ayr United. Stenhousemuir welcome back on-loan Hamilton youngster Michael Devlin from suspension, however his central defensive partner Gary Thom remains out. There are also doubts surrounding goalkeeper Ally Brown, defender Scott Fusco, midfielder Eric Paton and striker Scott Dalziel, who all face a race to prove their fitness before kick-off.
