Selkirk 22 - 15 Glasgow Hawks
SELKIRK scored a late try then survived five minutes of intense pressure with only 14 men to retain their unbeaten home record.
The home side won the try count 3-0, but Hawks, desperate for points, clung on with penalties to take a losing bonus point.
Ian Noble kicked Hawks ahead with an early penalty before Scott Hendrie pounced on a Michael McVie chip for the opening try and McVie converted. Noble banged over two more kicks and McVie one to give Selkirk a 10-9 break advantage.
Hawks went ahead for the second time when Robbie Hair kicked a penalty. When Hawks had Nick Campbell sent to the sin-bin, Selkirk cashed in with a Rob Taylor try which McVie converted.
Hair dropped a goal to level, but with three minutes left Alex Dunbar burst over and McVie converted. Hawks put on a late surge, but even with Neil Darling yellow-carded, the home side survived.
