Airdrie United 0, Livingston 1 Substitute Iain Russell was the difference as Livingston won the points from their visit to the Excelsior Stadium.
Russell struck in 64 minutes and was denied a second by Ridgers and Ryan Stevenson also hit woodwork.
Alloa Athletic 1, Stenhousemuir 0
Ten-man Alloa overcame a lacklustre Stenhousemuir side 1-0 at Recreation Park.
Scott Walker saw red five minutes before the break for a second booking, but it did not stop them getting the only goal, through Bryan Prunty.
Brechin City 0, Forfar Athletic 0
An entertaining Angus derby ended 0-0 at Glebe Park.
Rory McAllister hit the post and the bar for City. Dale Hilson blazed over and Mark McCulloch's header was turned on to the bar but Forfar could not break through either.
Dumbarton 3, Ayr United 2
Dumbarton moved closer to Peterhead after a good win.
Alan Cook's penalty opened the scoring, Pat Walker added the second then Mark Roberts made it 2-1. Ross Campbell made Dumbarton safe but Andy Rodgers set up a frantic finish.
Peterhead 2, East Fife 2
East Fife threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with ten-man Peterhead.
Kurtis Byrne broke the deadlock just after half time and Craig Johnstone headed home the second. Late goals from Martin Bavidge and Stuart Anderson got a valuable point.
