Second division
Stirling Albion 2 Arbroath 2
STIRLING and Arbroath shared the points in a match that burst into life early on before petering out. Brian Scott gave the visitors an early lead before Scott Robertson levelled. Scott's second goal had Arbroath 2-1 up in the 16th minute before David McKenna completed the scoring and earned the league leaders a point.
Brechin City 2 Alloa Athletic 1
RORY McAllister was the hero as Brechin came from behind to steal the points from Alloa at Glebe Park. John Grant had given the visitors an early lead but Charlie King got Brechin level from the penalty spot. The match looked to be heading for a draw before McAllister grabbed his eighth goal of the season to win it at the death.
Clyde 2 Stenhousemuir 1
CLYDE won a bad-tempered clash with Stenhousemuir, as both sides ended the match with 10 men. Steven Howarth gave Clyde the lead after Steven Thomson had seen red for a lunge at Paul Stewart. Clyde's Robert Halliday was also ordered off before a couple of late goals. Willie Sawyers made it 2-0 before Craig Molloy got a quick reply to set up a tense finish.
Cowdenbeath 5 Peterhead 0
PAUL McQuade and Gareth Wardlaw both grabbed braces as Cowdenbeath thrashed Peterhead 5-0 at Central Park.
McQuade's first half double was provided by Jay Stein, with the same player also setting up Wardlaw just after the interval.
Jon Robertson's fine long-range effort made it 4-0 before Wardlaw capped a fine individual performance with his second goal.
East Fife 0 Dumbarton 1
DENIS McLaughin's goal was enough for Dumbarton to claim the points. The Sons man got the only goal in the 58th minute to give the visitors their second win of the season.
