Rupert gesture
JOHAN Rupert, the South African businessman and the man behind the Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland, is sponsoring a squad of Scotland's leading amateurs on a warm weather training trip to his home country.
He is providing accommodation and facilities to a nine-man player development squad during a ten-day stay which will include matches against South African teams at the Leopard Creek, Houghton and Pearl Valley courses.
"I'm very proud to be associated with the Home of Golf through the Dunhill Links Championship and wanted to give something back to the development of talented young golfers in Scotland," said Rupert.
