Ross on High after away win
ROSS HIGH secured a precious win at Trinity Accies in RBS East One on Saturday.
All other matches in National One, East Two, East Three and the Edinburgh Regional Bowl were off, but Trinity Accies managed to get the encounter at Bangholm on and the visitors from East Lothian were delighted.
They played some good rugby to clock up their fifth league win of the season and jump ahead of their hosts and Forrester in the lower half of the table.
Ross High won the match 18-8 with their points coming through tries from hooker James Bennerman and back-row Steven Henderson, a penalty by full-back Ryan Hook, a conversion by centre Michael Patterson and a drop goal by stand-off Stuart Ross.
Ross was also yellow carded, but the home side could not capitalise and Ross High held on.
The result means Ross High have completed the double over Trinity Accies having defeated them 34-13 earlier in the season.
