Llanelli 38 - 28 Gala: Gala fail to recover from blitz

Gala were left reeling after conceding 24 points inside the opening ten minutes at Parc Y Scarlets.

However they rallied to secure two bonus points that could yet prove crucial to qualification.

Kristian Phillips scorched over twice within five minutes before setting up scrum-half Aled Davies.

Gala regained their composure and mounted a spirited fight-back before half-time through George Graham and Craig Robertson.

Gala then claimed a penalty try after two Llanelli forwards as well as Luke Pettite were sin-binned for fighting.

Robertson then scurried over for his second try to claim a bonus point as Gala threatened a stunning fight back at 31-28 four minutes into the second half.

But Owen Williams had the last say with Llanelli’s fifth try on 52 minutes.
