TIM Visser and Nick De Luca launched Edinburgh Rugby’s new kit for the upcoming season during an open evening at Murrayfield Stadium last night.
Visser, who signed a three-year contract extension last year, and De Luca, who also extended his stay in the capital took to the roof of Scotland’s national rugby stadium to launch the new kit.
Both players spoke highly of the quality and design of the kit, with the home shirt an original take on the club’s traditional black and red colours with an extension of the club badge designed to represent the passion of both the team and its supporters. The away kit sees a red shirt teamed with black shorts. The club will wear the new kit for the first time during their away match against Newcastle Falcons on August 17th, and at Murrayfield against Northampton Saints on August 24th.
Fans are advised to visit Edinburgh Rugby’s website in the next few days where information on buying the kit will be made available.
