Changing room chat: Super 15 a busted flush for Potgieter
SPRINGBOK Dewald Potgieter has become the latest sportsman to record a freak injury nowhere near the training ground or field of play.
The sportBulls flanker will miss the start of the Super 15 season after slicing through tendons in his wrist trying to open a toilet window from inside the bathroom at a friend’s wedding on South Africa’s south coast. After surgery, Potgieter, who turns 25 this week, said he wanted to open the small window because he thought he heard a friend outside fall and call out.
