Ruaridh Jackson comes on to the bench.

Maitland is understood to be suffering from a hamstring problem.

Lamont will win his 102nd cap in Cardiff.

Scotland are seeking to arrest a run of eight consecutive losses in the RBS Six Nations but Cardiff has not proved a happy hunting ground in recent years. The Scots have not won in the Welsh capital since 2002.
