Scotland full back Stuart Hogg is preparing for perhaps the biggest test of his 13-cap career when Wales visit Murrayfield in the RBS Six Nations Championship on Saturday.
Although the Scottish back three have dazzled with four of their team’s six tries in this tournament, they will have to go up a level, according to 20-year-old Hogg.
“In Leigh Halfpenny, George North and Alex Cuthbert they (Wales) have a back three that are incredible, possibly the best in rugby. But these are exciting times and hopefully we can come away with a win.”
Asked for the main difference that interim coach Scott Johnson has brought to the squad Hogg said: “We have a more positive attitude and are looking to attack by playing two or three phases then reassessing.
“We are taking chances when they are on offer. If we had a little bit more ball we would be a little bit more deadly.”
