Glasgow Warriors coach Gregor Townsend has rung the changes for tomorrow evening’s re-arranged Guinness Pro12 match with Zebre in Italy.
There are five changes in the backs, with Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg rested and a new half-back pairing of Ali Price and Duncan Weir. Alex Dunbar replaces Mark Bennett at outside centre and Tommy Seymour come in on the left wing for Sean Lamont. Glenn Bryce takes Hogg’s No 15 jersey.
There are a further three changes in the forwards from the team that beat Treviso last weekend.
Leone Nakarawa replaces Tim Swinson in the second-row, Rob Harley comes in for Josh Strauss on the blind-side and Ryan Wilson replaces Adam Ashe at No 8.
Hooker Pat MacArthur could feature for the first time in two months after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The game was due to be played in January, but was postponed so the Warriors could play their rescheduled European Rugby Champions Cup fixture with Racing 92.
The Pro12 champions, who have stayed on in Italy since the win over Treviso, will be looking to continue their push for a play-off spot against the Parma-based strugglers and coach Gregor Townsend said: “It’s been good to have most of the squad together in Italy this week and we’ve had a productive few days preparing for the game tomorrow night.
“Zebre have beaten Edinburgh, Cardiff and Treviso at home this season and they’ve also run a number of sides close, so we’re expecting a very tough match.
“They have several Italian internationals in their squad and are competing hard with Treviso for a European Rugby Champions Cup place, so we’ll have to be at our best if we’re to come away with a positive result.”
