GLASGOW Warriors have unveiled an official tartan, designed by Glasgow-based Highland dress outfitters Slanj Kilts.

The blue, black and white tartan mirrors the Scotstoun club’s colours, and is unveiled following months of negotiations between Warriors and Slanj.

Owned by Warriors-supporting brothers Brian and Craig Halley, Slanj already stocks Scottish Rugby tartan merchandise including kilts and scarves.

And the pair will be adding Warriors tartan kilts and trews to their branches in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Further merchandise is expected to follow in the coming weeks.

The new tartan has been a hit with fans on social media, with Robyn Nicol describing it as ‘perfect’ while Melanie Archer said it was ‘stunning’.
