Glasgow’s Heineken Cup match against reigning champions Toulon will go ahead after the Scotstoun pitch was given the all clear.
The French side touched down in Glasgow last night and will take on the Warriors in the final Pool 2 match tomorrow afternoon at 3.40pm.
There had been fears that the match would be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch however groundstaff managed to drain enough water for it to be deemed playable.
A full pitch cover has been brought in to provide extra protection and will be in place this afternoon until a couple of hours before kick-off.
Almost 6,000 tickets have been sold for the game with tickets still available from www.glasgowwarriors.org
