EDINBURGH RUGBY will begin this season’s European Challenge Cup campaign at home with a tie against French side Grenoble on Friday, November 13.

The dates for the Murrayfield outfit’s European matches were announced yesterday and after the clash with Grenoble, Alan Solomons’ men will travel to Agen the following
Friday.

Last season’s finalists then have back-to-back fixtures against London Irish, the first one being away on
Friday, December 12, before hosting them on Saturday, December 18.

In 2016, Edinburgh take on Agen at home on the weekend on January 15 before concluding their group fixtures away at Grenoble on the weekend on January 22. Dates for the final two matches and kick-off times will be announced in due course.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh centre Michael Allen has had surgery on a shoulder injury and is expected to spend at least a couple of months on the sidelines.
