Glasgow Hawks scored two tries in the last two minutes to win this thriller against Boroughmuir at Meggetland.

The hosts started well and they got the opening try after five minutes, Jordan Edmunds going over.

Hawks got on the board with a Ross Thompson penalty after 17 minutes, but four minutes later the home side scored their second try through skipper Johnny Matthews.

The visitors took advantage of Ciaran Whyte’s sin-binning to bag their first try, back-row Callum Kerr going over for the converted score to make it 12-10 at the interval.

The returned Whyte made amends with try number three in the 58th minute.

With 11 minutes to go Hawks levelled things up with a converted try by Paddy Boyer and then there was a crazy finale with everything happening.

Muir went ahead with a second Edmunds try in the 76th minute before Matthews was yellow carded.

Kerr then grabbed his second to make it 24-24 and Grant Stewart’s converted try won it for Hawks.
