Rory raring to go against Saints again
Brechin CITY hero Rory McAllister believes his side can still make it through to a maiden Scottish Cup semi-final.
The striker scored twice in a pulsating draw with St Johnstone on Saturday, earning his side a quarter-final replay in the process.
McAllister broke the deadlock with a penalty four minutes before the break, before Chris Millar and Danny Invincibile gave the SPL side the lead.
However the former Inverness striker struck 12 minutes from time to ensure his side will have another chance to progress to the last four of the competition.
He said: "I thought we were unlucky with the goals that we conceded but we have got another crack at them next week, which will be another good match.
"We have to make sure we play at our best and if they aren't on top form we will have a chance."
The 23-year-old plumber, who has scored 45 times in 65 appearances for Brechin, admitted he enjoyed testing himself against top flight opposition.
"I just enjoy playing my football and it doesn't matter who it is against as long as you enjoy it," he said. "It was good playing against a higher level team and I thought I played well."
