Roddick blow
WIMBLEDON runner-up Andy Roddick has withdrawn from the USA team to face Croatia in the Davis Cup quarter-finals this weekend.
Roddick injured a hip during his epic five-set loss to Roger Federer yesterday and will not be available for the tie in Porec. Mardy Fish will take his place.
The US team will now be Fish and James Blake in the singles, and the Bryan brothers, Mike and Bob, in the doubles. Ivo Karlovic and Marin Cilic are expected to lead the hosts on the clay.
