Robert Gordon's in sevens success

RUGBY SEVENS: Robert Gordon's College won the under-18 final of the Lathallan School tournament. The Robert Gordon's boys beat Deeside A 24-12 to claim the title.

Former Robert Gordon's pupil Ruaridh Jackson, class of 2006 and current Scotland cap, was on hand to congratulate the boys.

The whole event was a great success and the P7 event was won by Aberlour House.

Niall Lear from Lathallan said: "The sun was shining and the event went really well."

He added: "This was the first year we have held a sevens tournament and judging by the response from schools and clubs in the local area we will look to hold it again in the future."
