Redhall waste no time in finding the net
NORTH Merchiston went down 5-0 to Redhall Star in an under-14 South East Region Youth FA Division 4 fixture at Harrison Park.
Scott Cameron opened the scoring for Redhall in the second minute of the game and big Caesar Hunt made it 2-0 with a shot from 20 yards out in the tenth minute.
Curtis Brown added another for Star before half-time and, after the break, Sean Thompson and Charles Agu wrapped up the game.
North Merchiston looked to have scored a consolation goal in the last minute of the game, but Jordan Collins got back to boot the ball away off the line.
• REDPATH Albion and Livingston were locked at 3-3 at the end of their City Financial South East Region Under-17 Cup tie at Pilrig Park, but the West Lothian team scored four goals in extra time through Lewis Atkins (2), Neil Duff and Andrew Kane to run out 7-3 winners.
Albion went 1-0 ahead through Connor Kirkland. Jordan Thomson made it 1-1 before Brad Glasgow put Albion back in front. Andrew Kane made it 2-2 before half-time then hit the target again in the second half to put Livingston 3-2 in front but a Kirkland penalty levelled the score again.
