QUEEN'S Park and Annan Athletic fought out a poor draw, but after a dull first half the second period showed improved menace from each side.

Barry Douglas cleared a Brian Gilfillan effort off the line, then came close to breaking the deadlock with a header, steering a corner just wide.

Mike Jack was unlucky not to put Annan ahead, his effort well saved by Scott Black.
