Peter Grant unveiled as Alex McLeish's assistant

Birmingham City have appointed former Celtic assistant manager Peter Grant as first-team coach at St Andrew's.

Grant, who performed a similar role at Parkhead during Tony Mowbray's ill-fated spell in charge, teams up with manager Alex McLeish at St Andrews, filling the job vacated by Roy Aitken, who last week left the Premier League club to link up with David O'Leary at United Arab Emirates outfit Al Ahli.
