Parnevik ruled out for the rest of year
FORMER Ryder Cup player Jesper Parnevik is out of golf for the rest of the year after having arthroscopic hip surgery.
The surgery was performed by Dr Marc Philippon, who has performed a similar procedure on Greg Norman and on Parnevik nine years ago.
“I’m confident he will make a full recovery,” he said. “I obviously have a familiarity with the rehabilitation work ahead of me, which will certainly help me through this process. I’ll be excited to compete again injury free.”
