Knox spearheads new-look board

BOWLS: Scotland have unveiled their new-look board that will govern the sport for the next four years. The six-member board, voted for by all clubs in Scotland, will be led by Bill Knox as the new chairperson.

Anna Marshall, Bob Christie and Alan Davidson have retained their directorships of finance, development and competitions and events respectively, Colin Noon is in charge of marketing and communications and William McVey as director of governance.

Meanwhile, Scotland’s men’s and women’s teams are poised to take centre stage in the World Outdoor Championships in Adelaide. Paul Foster spearheads the men’s challenge in the singles, while Claire Johnston and Margaret Letham are among those in the Scottish women’s line-up.
