Murrayfield joy for Kelso rink

CURLING: Kelso High School’s rink of Callum Potts, Neil Sutherland, Lorna Shaw plus brother and sister Cameron and Amy Bryce won the James Young Trophy at the East of Scotland Schools’ qualifying at Murrayfield ice rink.

Mary Erskine’s, Stewart’s Melville and George Heriot’s also made the top four and go forward to the Scottish Schools’ Championships at Murrayfield on 16-18 March.

The other qualifiers to date are Lockerbie Academy, Stranraer Academy, Douglas Ewart High School, St Joseph’s College, Dumfries, Wallace Hall Academy and Dumfries Academy.
