Basketball: Juniors look for a favour

EDINBURGH Kings  junior men are in the frame for a basketball  title this weekend though matters are not entirely in their own hands.

At home to Falkirk Fury at Portobello tomorrow (5pm) after the Edinburgh Kool Kats v Polonia Phoenix women’s derby (3pm), Kings will by then know the result of the Boroughmuir Blaze v Tayside Musketeers game at the Crags (12.20pm) and if Blaze repeat their Scottish Cup final win over the league leaders then Kings can overtake the Taysiders by beating Fury.

Victory for Musketeers by any margin would be sufficient for the championship crown.
