Olympics: Zara Phillips in Team GB squad

ZARA Phillips’ inclusion in Team GB’s three-day eventing team on High Kingdom, continues the family’s connection to the Olympics.

But the Queen’s granddaughter will be hoping for the luck of her father Captain Mark Phillips rather than mother Princess Anne. While Captain Phillips won team gold at Munich 1972 and silver in Seoul 1988, Princess Anne fell off her horse during the 1976 Montreal Games. Zara is quoted at 2-1 to win team gold, 12-1 to win individual gold, and 50-1 to again win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year prize.
