Lovat went top of the Premiership after being stuck in road chaos for nine hours.
The Inverness-shire outfit set out to face Kyles in Tighnabruaich early on Saturday morning but were caught up in the aftermath of a major accident at Beauly. Their bus was then halted again by a further accident on the edge of Loch Ness.
Throw-up finally took place at 5pm, two hours late, and Lovat maintained their unbeaten run to win 2-1.
“It says an awful lot for the players to do what they did,” said President Ian Ferguson.
Lorne MacKay and Owen Ferguson got the vital goals for Lovat, with Zac Coley finding the net for Kyles.
Fellow title challengers Newtonmore and Inverary saw their matches postponed due to heavy rain.
