McLaren heads for QoS with a message
QUEEN of the South manager Gordon Chisholm has signed freed Clyde midfielder Willie McLaren on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old was one of 12 players released by the financially-stricken Bully Wee last week.
The former St Johnstone and Airdrie player has sympathy for his former team-mates who remain out of work. He said: "Football can be cruel at times. I'm the lucky one, but I'd like nothing better than to see them all with a team before the new season starts."
