McGhee reveals Aluko blow after winger's stomach strain
ABERDEEN boss Mark McGhee has confirmed Sone Aluko faces a spell on the sidelines with a stomach injury.
Winger Aluko was forced off before half-time in Saturday's 2-1 Clydesdale Bank Premier League win over St Johnstone.
He will definitely sit out the Dons' next match in just under two weeks' time, while a scan will determine how much longer he will be out for. McGhee said: "Sone has a stomach strain – which we don't know exactly yet the level of. Certainly, he won't be training for a couple of weeks. I'd imagine he'd miss the Motherwell game; I've no idea beyond that. It needs to be scanned."
