Livingston's Raffaele De Vita ready to roar at Hampden
LIVINGSTON manager Gary Bollan hopes to have Raffaele De Vita back when his side travel to Hampden tomorrow to face Queen's Park.
The Italian scored twice on Livi's last visit to Mount Florida in a 3-1 Scottish Cup victory in October but picked up an injury in the club's last game – their 6-1 thrashing of Elgin.
The Italian was a doubt for last week's postponed home game against Albion Rovers but will be grateful for the extra week's rest. The postponement means the Lions have not played at Almondvale since 17 October, putting pressure on club finances.
Livingston have yet to lose at home this term and have three games at Almondvale next month and David Winters, who scored at Elgin, says it is vital that Livi maintain their unbeaten run.
"December is going to be an important month. Hopefully, we can win all of them and that will see us build a gap at the top. We are unbeaten at home and we want to keep that up."
• MIDFIELDER David Sinclair has agreed a new contract until the summer of 2012.
Sinclair has broken into the first team this year and Ged Nixon, Livingston's chief executive, said: "David has forced his way into the team. We want to create stability and build for the future. Keeping the likes of David is central to what we are trying to do."
