Lister accepts Rose gift for Camelon
Linlithgow Rose 1 - 2 Camelon LINLITHGOW ROSE had the better of the opening exchanges at a windswept Prestonfield and took the lead in the 21st minute when Brian Carrigan's cross caused panic in the Camelon ranks and Bryan Bell sliced the ball into his own net.
However, the visitors managed to equalise in the 32nd minute when Andy Dick lost possession in a dangerous area and Chris Donnelly's cross was headed home by Jim Lister.
Buoyed by their leveller, Camelon took charge of the game but spurned a series of chances.
Frustration got the better of the Mariners boss Alan McGonigal, who was sent to the stand by referee Gavin Ross in the second half.
His spirits were lifted by the end though as Rose gift-wrapped their visitors the points in the 89th minute.
A terrible mix up between Keith Hogg and Greg Logan presented Lister with an open goal.
The striker gleefully converted the chance to seal an important victory for Camelon.
