King have a great night as Musselburgh cruise to victory
OLIVEBANK'S two Kings delivered a fine performance for Musselburgh Athletic as they cruised to a 4-0 win over visiting Haddington.
Musselburgh may have been tipped to struggle to stay in the Super League this coming term, but against their South League opponents in this League Cup Section 4 clash, they certainly impressed.
They managed to keep a lid on their discipline, having had players sent off in their previous matches.
Instead, it was the striking partnership of the Kings who inflicted a different kind of damage on Haddington Athletic with Mattu King getting a brace and Chris King opening the scoring while Ryan McCallum netted the fourth.
Arniston were equally as impressive when they travelled to Dunbar and came away with the same result. On the scoresheet for Arniston were Kyle Howitt, Scott Borthwick with a double and Tadge Moriarty.
Meanwhile, in Section 1, Edinburgh United ran out 2-0 winners over Dalkeith, with goals from Keith Pullen and Brett Dalglish in a comfortable performance which suggests they will be favourites to win this weekend's sectional match against Whitburn.
