John Coughlin seeks cup consistency

Stenhousemuir boss John Coughlin wants his side to show that their 4-1 win over Dundee in the last round was no flash in the pan by winning their ALBA Challenge Cup quarter-final at Balmoor against Peterhead today.

"The Dundee game was tremendous for everyone connected with the club but we have not came close to those heights since. This is a very evenly poised game as Peterhead are a right good side especially on their own pitch," said Coughlin.

Winger Grant Anderson is available, although goalkeeper Chris McCluskey is out with an ankle knock, Scott Gibb absent with a groin complaint and Simon Lynch remains out with an achilles problem. Willie Lyle and Scott Fusco can play despite their red cards last week with their suspension restricted to league affairs.

Peterhead boss Neale Cooper is out to achieve a personal first as he has never led a side into the final four of the ALBA Challenge Cup. The Balmoor side are without goalkeeper Paul Jarvie, defender Bobby Mann and striker Davie Ross through injury with winger Graeme Sharp unavailable. because of work commitments.
