Injuries give Brechin defensive headache
First Division play-offs
Brechin City v Cowdenbeath
Brechin City manager Jim Weir has defensive concerns as he prepares for first leg of their play-off semi-final against Cowdenbeath.
Both Gerry McLauchlan and Ewan Moyes are struggling for fitness but full-back Paul McLean is available after suspension and midfielder Jamie Redman has recovered from injury.
Cowdenbeath manager Jimmy Nicholl will welcome back the experienced pair of Craig Winter and Colin Cameron from suspension along with defender Mark Baxter, who is free of injury. However, Bob Malcolm, Joe Mbu and Dene Droudge, along with full-back Richie Vauls, will miss out through knocks. Thomas O'Brien is a doubt after picking up an injury.
Forfar v Ayr United
Forfar have Chris Templeman available after a ban and he looks set to return to the starting line up to give Forfar a full squad of players, with the exception of goalkeeper Scott Gallacher, who has a thigh problem, for their home first-leg against Ayr United.
Ayr United manager Brian Reid is in a similarly healthy position, with only injured defender Dean Keenan unavailable for their trip Angus.
