Ice Hockey: Caps fans to have their say
EDINBURGH Capitals owner Scott Neil comes face-to-face with fans at a forum tomorrow at the Riverside Suite, Murrayfield Ice Rink, 7.30pm.
The fans are demanding answers after a season which saw a mass walkout of foreign players and just six wins from their 54 games. Neil recently informed the Elite League board that he was working towards another season in the league.
However, he refused to commit until he is confident about finance. It is the second fans' forum Neil has staged and he said: "I am very encouraged and optimistic at this stage of the year as we have been given very positive news from current and new sponsors/investors for their support for next season.
