Horse racing: Goldie set for Ebor dream

JIM Goldie believes Icon Dream is capable of making his presence felt in the Betfred Ebor at York later this month.

The five-year-old ran an excellent race to finish third in the Northumberland Plate on his first start for the Scottish trainer, beaten just a length by Ile De Re and Goldie said: “He’s on target for the Ebor and he seems fine. It will be interesting to see what happens. He doesn’t need to improve much to take a hand in it.”
