Changing Room Chat: Grafter Divinsky gets own race
DVINSKY will equal the modern-day record for Britain’s busiest ever racehorse when he runs at Kempton this evening.
To mark the feat of the 11-year-old’s 217th race in ten seasons, the Sunbury track have renamed the seven-furlong contest in his honour. Dvinsky will join Sharp Hat, who retired in 2007, when he lines up for the Betdaq Dvinsky record-equalling 217th Run Handicap. The Paul Howling-trained gelding faces 13 rivals and will be ridden for the 26th time by Tom McLaughlin in what will be 76th appearance at Kempton.
