Grange target win in top-of-table clash

Grange’s bid to prevent Glynhill Kelburne claiming their ninth consecutive Aberdeen Asset Management First Division title rests on the Edinburgh side taking something from today’s top-of-the table clash at Bellahouston.

The two sides are on the same points with Kelburne leading on a superior goal difference, but the Paisley side have also a crucial game in hand against Inverleith.

Grove Menzieshill are also still in with a shout, sitting just three points behind the top two, but they must win away to AMN Hillhead today to keep in touch. Western Wildcats will guarantee their place in the top five split if they can see off Gordonians at Auchenhowie.

In the only women’s game of the day Wildcats, struggling to avoid the drop, take on Dundee Wanderers who are aspiring for a top five spot.
