HIBBIES are hopeful the worst is over for their team.
David Gibson, Newhaven: "WIth our bad patch out of the way and Derek Riordan's form on the up, I think Yogi will prove his worth as a manager by urging the team to scrap for every ball in our push for third spot. Grinding out results is all that is important at this time of the season."
K Smith Piershill: "Hopefully we can get back to winning ways and put a bad start to the year behind us. We have very small midfielders and, with all the pitches in such bad shape, we cannot compete when the ball is not on the deck and other managers are aware of this and set their stall out to stop us playing. We must find another plan when things are not going our way and that's up to Yogi and Brian Rice."
James Smith: "Glad the team is back to winning ways. The bad thing is that, if we had won the games we lost, we would be second."
George Gibb: "Let's not moan about the pitch before the cup game with Ross County. No excuses, both teams have to play on the surface but nothing more than a win for Hibs will do so get your act together boys, this is it the last-chance saloon."
