Hibs: Your Views

Some Hibbies weren't too impressed despite beating Aberdeen.

Dave, Bonnyrigg: "To play 29 minutes against a poor Aberdeen nine men without scoring does not say much for our 'prolific' strike force. We played exactly the same game against nine as against 11 – high crosses into the box instead of using the additional space to create openings. Attacks are generally too individualistic with a slow build-up which leaves Stokes, Riordan and Co isolated. Bamba and Murray were, however, superb in defence."

Stevie Duff:"Against ten then nine men Hibs struggled for long spells. The four Hibs-supporting Dutch guys next to me looked less than impressed with our attempt at total football. Nevertheless, last season we would have lost a game like that."

Other fans gave their backing to Colin Nish and Ian Murray.

R Ogura, Dunfermline: "I was so pleased to see Nish's great performance and his goal. However, I had mixed feelings. I often complain that Yogi should select Nish from the start of all games but I may have to admit Yogi's strategy was right this time. Personally I would still like Yogi to select Nish from the beginning on Saturday."

Neil Wilson, Prestonfield: "I can't understand Mark McGhee's comments about Murray's tackle on Fraser Fyvie. It was a hard, fair challenge. It's a pity the lad got injured but that's football. The derby on Saturday is a massive game – not just because it is against Hearts but it's a great opportunity to put a bit of distance between ourselves and one of our potential European challengers."
